QT Hotel Viaduct Harbour

The challenge we faced with this project was taking a traditional office building with a unique floor plate, and turning it into a high end, boutique hotel on Auckland’s waterfront.

We created a large number of different room types, to sustainably maximise the total rooms in the floor area. Bringing on the QT brand saw the Auckland hotel become a highly-anticipated offering to the waterfront. Design-led, the hotel has a huge focus on food and beverage with Sean Connelly’s Esther restaurant on the ground floor and the rooftop bar boasting Viaduct views.
